We are currently looking for an experienced driver to join our busy team. The successful candidate will deliver finished products in our 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle and will be able to move goods around the factory using a counterbalance forklift.

Applications are welcomed from candidates with a valid LGC Cat C1 Licence and valid counterbalance forklift licence.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • The safe delivery of finished products, parts and materials to customers
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements including wearing the correct PPE
  • Ensure truck is properly loaded and load secured; vehicle is in operational condition and the product is delivered without any damage sustained
  • Accurate completion of any required paperwork
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting and faults or wear and tear
  • General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area
  • Counterbalance Forklift duties including loading & unloading vehicles

We are currently seeking a welder/fabricator who is experienced and coded in aluminium welding. The successful person will produce mild steel and stainless-steel products for a variety of industries. Other types of welding may be required. The role is initially temporary for 6 months and the term will be reviewed after 3 months.

All candidates must be fully qualified, and time served.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • MIG and TIG experience is preferred
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Strong ability in reading engineering/fabrication drawings
  • Completing products on time, meeting and exceeding quality expectations
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Provide assistance to a team of fabricators and welders where necessary
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to targets

The Pay

£11 - £13.23 per hour dependent on experience and skill

We are currently seeking an experienced operative to join our Final Assembly department. Working in a busy team environment you will work to complete metal-products for a number of different industries including rail, automotive, leisure and the electronics industry.

The successful candidate will be experienced in operating production machinery and tools including handheld power tools. A good eye for detail and ability to maintain high quality standards is essential for this role.

We are currently seeking a forklift driver support manufacturing employees to achieve production within specified timeframes by transporting material in a safe and efficient manner.

A current, valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
  • Transport materials to production workstations
  • Identify safety hazards in the workplace.
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labelling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

The Hours

Dayshift:

  • Monday – Thursday: 07.45am – 16.30pm
  • Friday: 07.45am – 2.15pm
  • Possibility for overtime available which can include Saturdays 07.00am – 12 noon

The Pay

£8.72 - £11.09 per hour dependent on experience and skill
